Cut the driver side crash bar and moved it up aginst the foot baox wall and moved 2" forward. Bottom plat is welded flush to the top of the 1.5" bar and has 2 gussets underneath.

And with my size 15 feet I could not push on any pedal with out hitting the others. This pic shows the pleminary setup. Might have to do some more fitting and will need some pedal covers. Still a little tight btwn the gas pedal and brake. If I wasn't running a BBF I would move the right foot box wall into the engine bay then I should have plenty.

Modded wilwood pedal assembly.
Brake - pad moved over 3/4"
Clutch - Dog leg moves pedal over 1 3/4"

On the left will be DWC dead pedal.

I will post some more pics when complete.

With the kirkey seat all the way back and assuming 1" clutch travel my left leg will almost be stright. And I'm 6'7" with 36" inseam. And people say I won't fit.

Excellent work. Hope you will keep this photo handy to reply to all the "Will I fit?" posts.Just takes a little extra work and in you go!

Hi Kurt, nice work! What engine are you planning to use? If it's a 302/351 you might want to take a look at my (free) drivers footbox mod to get more foot room on the throttle side. If you're going with a mod motor the mod won't work. See my sig for a link.

With the Wilwood pedal set-up. At first I tried to bend the pedal but it broke. So we cut it and made the dog leg. Time will tell how it will hold up. Because, of this I only moved the deal over on the brake. I would rather the clutch pedal fail instead of the brake.

If the clutch pedal does not hold up I will be making some pedals out of steel to get what I want.

Ok well I went through and modified the brake pedal and then gusseted the clutch and brake pedals. I am not afraid of them braking now with the way they are braced.

With this change I can now get my size 15 4E shoes in there and work all the pedals with out hitting each other or another pedal.

I did not modify the engine side al panel.

the mods that you are doing are great. I also love the engine mounts you made.
It is absolutely amazing how much room you can create when you start to look for every little 1/4 inch.
I would also recomend you modify the 2" square tube behind the driver feet. My feet would get caught on it when I lift my foot. I cut it length wise at the top forward edge and bent the top down and the front back. This makes it into a trangle and much easier to pull your foot back.
Also don't forget to put washers under the steering pillow block to space it up. Lastly Modify the driver door hinge so your knee does not rest on it .
Here are a couple pics .

Mark I most have missed your comment on here, do you still have those pictures?

One more mod....

I made a box and dropped the floor 2.5 inches....still sits above the lowest part of the frame so it should be safe.

Dropping the floor helps with the height of your footroom.....easy to do.

I am 6'6" tall and pulled out every bit of space I could get....

Also,if you have a 302 or 351, you could move the panel to the right of the gas pedal a little to the right.Maybe 3/4 inch.On my MkII that panel fits to the four inch main frame tube at maybe eleven oclock (looking from the seat).Your heel is still restricted by the frame tube but the top of your foot can use a little more room to twist to the right.
