I have had my xB for about 8 months now. (mine is an automatic). A lot of people find them to be very ugly but I like the design a bunch. My mother calls it a, "milk truck". Things I like a bunch about the car:
Extremely roomy, especially if you're tall.
30-33 mpg
terrific stereo
Toyota reliability
lots of standard options - power everything, tinted glass
good storage - back seats fold down giving plenty of room
I really like the seats - very supportive and upright
The riding position is good - feels like you're sitting high
comfortably seats 4 large adults - no problem at all
EASY to park about anywhere
About the only thing that bothers me sometimes is fairly major, depending on how you drive. Passing power is pretty limited. If you drive in mostly urban areas, it's not a problem at all - great car around the city. When we moved to Dallas is when the 110 hp became very evident because my 30 mile commute is mostly highway. It's not too bad but you have to plan your intentions to pass and merge with traffic. Once you're cruising along at 60mph+, it's not a problem.
Ohh, the other good thing that I'm starting to notice is that the resale value on these appears like it's going to be really good. The roominess of the car and above-average fuel economy make me like it more and more every day.
I recommend.
