Looks like you may need to loosen the hinge bracket on the inside wall of the fender and lower the assy. into the engine bay a bit more.

You might also have to notch the front 3/4" tube that the rad bolts to. Sometimes, the hinge hits it, pulling the hood up. However, if you have your hood adjusted properly, it shouldn't hit the 3/4" tube.

 

I hand to oblong the up and down slots on the bracket more to get my RH side low enough.

 

I used a 1/4" bolt in the front hole to get mine to go down a little more.

 

something else to check.... with the hood down, climb under the csr and look up at the strut to make sure it isn't botteming out. If it is you need to move the bracket on the hood back.

 

Looks like the chassis mounting bracket could be flipped left and right and give you a little more room in the oblong mounting holes.

I remember some one saying that the pressure on some of the shocks was to much on the light hood. To use 16 lb shock as opposed to the 20lb shock.

 

To lower the hinge and get it to suck in tighter, use some washers under the frame mount to the hinge and that will bring it down a little. I also found that the body is a little twisted as well, and you can put a shim on top of the 3/4" tubing and raise the body a little to make it come to the hood, depending on which looks the most true to form.
