I've gone thru 6 pages of search results and only found one comment relative to my question.
I need to know how many threads of the wheel studs should be engaged into the nuts.
On the rear, with all nuts properly tightened, when I remove one nut, then re-thread it on, I count 5 threads before the nut contacts the wheel. On the front, using the same procedure, I stopped counting after 10 threads into the nut.
Does anyone have a link to identify what is a safe minimum?
Thanks,
Todd
