One word comes to mind.... BEAST!! :D

they are 18" wide, so thats a 457!!!!

Holly Crap! I'm speechless at this point. Man that's impressive work. I love the rims.

Greg

nice work...you've been a busy boy

Wow! Those tires look giant in the photos... I can't imagine them in person!

What's the outside diameter of the tires? I'm wondering how the wheel opening (body) fit will be.

Very cool!

Rob

Crazy! What kind of power does that engine make? What gears do you have in that rear end? I cant wait to see some numbers when that thing gets going.

Mike.. It's a good thing we don't own Cobras, huh?!

Those asking aboout the tires, you can read the label on the back one:

Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R's
29x18.00R20

That means 29" overall diameter
18" wide sidewall
mounts on a 20" diameter rim

Steve

I have seen loads of great mods on this forum .... but for me this one takes the cake. No questions this will be in the works for my next Cobra.....

Wow!!

In the normal tire size config., that would be a 457/25 - 20. That's rediculous!

Do you think you will be able to get the car to hook up. With that much rubber I would be afraid of breaking something in the drive train

Thanks guys for all the kind words. Im sorry if I dont answer all your posts its just that Im better with a welder than a computer. My 11 year old son is really the one who posted for me.I probably wont drag or road race the car but will do Hot Rod Power Tour and local car shows,my real hobby is rock crawling, building and driving with my family the cobra is kind of a 2 person thing, but Im having a great time building this and Im on this forum every night to check out what you guys are building. Thanks Earl

That is a wild a$$ looking chassis. I generally dont like large diameter wheels but they look great with the huge tires.
I am curious if the tires really stick in corners and what it will look like with the body on it.
Right now it looks evil as he)).
I really like the fabrication, particularly the rear sway bar setup.
