What do you think?

I've seen Fran's Superlite Coupe in person and it is beautiful in my opinion. Couple that with all the engine choices and you have lots of options at a very attractive price.

Ditto! Based on personal preferences only, I prefer the GTM.

We are also working on a funtional window so dont right us off just yet.....
We are Race Car Replicas too, and our demographic is race car guys...partcularly ones in the age bracket that loved the LeMans Group C style cars ......with so many engine choices in the marketplace, I wanted to allow more freedom of expression and the new chassis will accomodate anything from a Viper to a four cylinder Cosworth and anything in between,we also made the engine trans bay large enough to accomodate ANY transaxle on the ,market including the Ford GT unit, I also made sure to have a very large door opening for easy ingress/egress and tons of footbox length and width.....
We have a lot of midengine experience and know most all of the expensive pitfalls/benefits associated with the layout.....

I appreciate your feedback ..good or bad as you guys are all looking for the next project...I am aware this is the GTM forum and as such not too expect much positive feedback.... ;)
Thanks

Seems like it was a really good question i made this morning

With the "5" years off developing that the GTM has had, in 5 years maybe the superlite will be the optimal choice kwho knows. Damn im drunk dont even know what im writing, started my 4 week vacation today

Looking at the real thing, and then the picture, I have to say the RCR coupe looks way better in person. Although I never really liked bubble-top cars (like the Ultima), the Superlite is more subdued and lacks the cartoonish look of an Ultima or similar vehicle.

While the GTM is a street-friendly, track-day terror, the RCR is more like a record-smashing monster (like the Ultima). Not to say the Superlite isn't street-friendly, because I don't know any of that. I'm just going by the insane engine sitting in the back.

Personally, I'd have both; a GTM for spirited cruising and an RCR with a Ford engine for outrunning Enzos.

As for Atom imitators, Kirkham has a similar beast too, though I haven't been able to find out much about it. Seems exo-skeletons are all the rage now.

Check out these links...you will see that many manufacturers are building tubular chassis cars....no problem with any design issues...dont think Ariel designers invented round tube or the tube bender...besides the SL roadster is 16k as a roller and aimed at a different market sector...

Karlo,

the Coupe was unveiled 8 weeks ago and we have already had the Lexus package running.....we have the engine out at the moment as we are trial fitting a Viper V10 engine...just in case someone feels like its "clobbering time"....to quote my 7 year old son(Fantastic Four)....
