I have really enjoyed following your last build, you do great work on the car and writing the build thread. Keep up the great work.

John
The detail in your build log was a big part of my decision to "jump straight into the deep end." Subscribed.

Once you get your head around it, the connections to the Coyote are pretty simple.
And brain surgery's pretty easy once you know how. :)

I'm so glad you're writing this build up in such detail. It confirms my decision to go with the 302, 'cuz there's NO WAY I'd ever figure any of this stuff out. Your build is truly inspirational.

Cheers,

John

Hi edwardb,

Is there a reason you rivet the 10-32 nut plates to the bottom of the 3/4" tube rather than use nut-serts? I'm going to guess it's too difficult to get your nut-sert tool into the correct position?

John

Very cool Paul. Congratulations!

The build looks great Paul.

How much dash cowl did you end up trimming?

And do you think 3M Dual Lock would be suitable for mounting a dash?

John

Good info on trimming the passenger side dash end.

How much did you trim the bottom lip of the cockpit rolled edges (front and back)? I'm trying to get confirmation that 1/4" will get me in the ball park so that the body doesn't rub against the dash and I still have a bit of adjustment fore and aft.

Congratulations on the new house Paul. I really like a ranch-style house, and your future garage can't be beat.

One thing I learned how to do in my military career was move (and I didn't move nearly as much as most folks). I could go from boxes delivered to everything unpacked, in place, and pictures on the wall in three days. But not now with two little kids. I started the move in by setting up the stereo...

Don't forget to throw stuff out when you unpack! I usually threw away 80-100% as much at the new house as I did packing up the old.

John

P.S. Oh yeah; the build is looking as fantastic as ever!

Thought maybe Capt.-O was pulling my chain. I will tell you this for sure and for certain,,,,The detailed progress of such nice builds will not only take some of the guess work out but will add to a higher build curve of our little community. Bless you for your patience , documentation and attention to detail:wink2:....till you're better paid:beerchug: cheers my friend. da Bat
I know my build is at least a billion times better than what it would have been without your build threads as reference...not to mention all the great info in the specific-topic threads.

Thanks!

John

Congratulations Paul; very well deserved.
