I had these adapters fabricated and spinners altered to fit my wheels. I think they came out great. It gives them a classic look and are very different. That is what I was looking for.

Nice progress!

I really like what you have done with the turbine wheels. I am planning to freshen up my turbines as well - some shade of gray with polished fins, and a plate/insert to tidy up the center circle. Nice idea to capture the Corvette spinners. Looks like your center plate secures the threaded spinner mount, and nicely incorporates the lugs.

Thanks for sharing your build.

Hello everyone,
I had been neglecting the build for almost a year working on remodeling a couple of houses. I also for some reason got sucked into building computers for my whole family for a few months.

But you know what they say about excuses.

Wit that aside I am back on the project and had a week off to make some headway.

1) We buttoned up the Radiator.
2) Fixed a coolant leak at the water neck.
3) Added AN -6 fittings to the Power steering and made some AN lines.
4) Added Dash braces and mounted the fuse panel.
5) Installed a Pyle Bluetooth receiver and 6 inch boat speaker system under the dash.
6) Changed the oil and toped off all fluids.
7) Sanded, treated, and wrapped the exhaust

Its been a little while since I posted on this thread. For a while working on the cobra came to a halt. I stated working on it again about 6 months ago. I replaced the switches with something more aesthetically pleasing and replace the fuel tank and pump assembly. I let it sit too long and the gas turned to sludge.

This weekend I noticed the calipers were starting to rust. I prepped than and painted them and decided to go ahead and mount the wheel spinners. I had a local machine shop make me some adapters that allow me to mount the spinners to the wheel.

Here is a before and after picture of the stock wheel transformation and the brackets.

Good job on the Spinners.
We too after 20+ years still run the Mustang Rims

If your front shocks have 12mm shafts you will want to replace them. Ask me how I know...
