I purchased the MKIII kit in January 06 and Stewart delivered it on my birthday in March 06. After a complete inventory, it sat in my barn for over a year while I built a shop to house it. I finished it in May (as much as they are ever "finished") and now have a little over five hundred miles on it. I'd like to have put more on it, but over two years of neglect on the ole' homestead while I worked on the car finally caught up with me this summer. It's a blast to drive and another square checked off that's been on my bucket list since I was a kid staring at my Ripchords album cover listening to "Hey Little Cobra."

Here are the stats:

Metco Driveshaft Safety Loop

DWC Door Sills, Rear view mirror bracket, and fuel line clamps

Terry, it's about time!
Guys, I've seen this car...stunning!

Congrats Terry :beerchug:

At least we can agree that this engine is turned the right way!

Wow - that's just stunning Terry - look awesome. I'm hoping my build turns out the same way - I'm planning a 408/TKO600/Torsen/3.55/IRS setup.

How does the IRS handle the power that the 408 kicks out? Did you do anything special with the axles?

Any more pics of the trans tunnel? The whole interior looks beautiful!

How do you like the 0.82 final drive and how does it feel cruising on the highway?

Gorgeous....Congrats!

Love the turkey pan....was thinking of doing the same.

Wow, nice job. Only a few numbers apart too!

Great detail on it too...

You might want to add actual color names/codes too. Are those Tungsten stripes?

go to your local Six Flags and write down what they say on those signs where you get in line, and get a decal made for your windshield...

..."warning, if you suffer from back pain, are pregnant, get motion sickness, have a heart condition, etc. do not ride this ride...."
