Is there any risk of water intrusion with the locking aero cap?

IOW...Is there any room for water to hang around the rim and enter when the cap is removed?

oohhhhh pretty. Those are too nice to hide under the lemans cap.

LOL. makes me think of my daughter when she was 3-4 years old. When saw something she liked she would say, "it's so pretty and shiny". She's 10 now and we all as a family say that when we see something we like.

please be careful with the Perma-cap. i had an almost identical product from another vendor. the fuel nozzle broke off the flap - and the flap & spring fell in the gas tank. the vendor replaced the product for free. i now just unscrew it - it is still a very low profile cap and works well with the older style leMans cap when considering clearance. still well worth the money.

sorry to be rain cloud boy... just be careful. hopefully, the vendor will chime in and say their flap is very strong.

I had the same experience as Eddie so I am reluctant to try the same type of cap.

 

Just what I was looking for

I couldn't find the Viper cap that some have used so this is perfect. Warnings about flap duly noted - I will remove it for filling.

GUYS:

i am sure the gas cap is fine, just be careful at the pump. i think i may have caught the edge of the filler nozze on the flappy edge by the hinge, and forced it too hard. my fault, just be careful.

once again, it's a VERY inexpensive low-profile cap if you want to un-screw it like i do.
