I am thinking of changing the routing of my Mass Flo harness.

1. I have the computer on the passenger side footbox.
2. I have no room behind dash to put computer.
3. Any pictures of how people are routing their harness and mounting thier fuse blocks?

Thanks,
Mike O.

Mine is where yours is . However , Years ago when I got my first 93 Lightning , I converted it to mass air with a pro-m kit . They supplied a neet aluminum box to mount the extra computer in the engine compartment . .It has 2 mounting tabbs with screw holes and a grommet for the harness to exit. The only other idea I have is to find an Fseries truck from the early 90's and pirate the computer mount located behind the drivers fender liner . Computer mounts from outside with a weathertite cover and 2 screws . Take the screws and the cover off and see if that will work . I am going toi build a false inner footbox liner and carpet it to hide mine . Good luck, bob

Mike,

I don't have any good pics, and my computer is behind my dash (FFMetal firewall forward kit), so maybe I'm not a lot of help, but...

I found industrial velcro works just fine for holding up the small fuse block and relays etc. I have them on the passenger side of (behind) the dash near where my computer is mounted and I think (?) they will be just fine there. Certainly easy enough to just pull them off and down to get at them if I need to. I think there is room to do this near the center of my dash as well, but it depends how much, if any real estate you have back there (I know you don't have much).

I think the best alternative ECM mounting position may be the passenger footbox side. Mounts on the diagonal tube on the right and could be easily covered with another fabbed panel and carpet.

Mike,

I have the computer in the same place. I brought the cables up the front of the 2x2 and around the end of the fire wall. I have the fire wall forward and brought the bundle under that and along the front of the 2x2. At the middle of the engine the wires from forward and it is mostly hidden by big oval air filter. I wish I had pictures, but I am about 6,800 miles away from home and my car.

Hope this helps

I have a Mk 1.5(?). I put my computer on the drivers side, far left, foot box, between the frame tubes. I also put the relays and enertia switch for the fuel pump there, nearer the door post. I have still have enough foot room. I then ran the harness out of the upper right side drivers foot box, right to the engine. All the wiring hook ups are near my fuse box and easily accessable.

Mike,

I mounted the A9L behind the dash and the relay box on the end of the dash filler panel where I can get at it.
