High temp grease like the wheel bearings should be ok.

 

I used a full synthetic mobil 1 from Autozone. You can use it pretty much anywhere you need grease.

 

It's got groove, it's got meaning.

The black stuff is most likely Moly grease which is much better than the clear/pale stuff. The Moly grease has Molybdenum Disulphide in it and it is this that provides the lubrication. The clear/waxy colored stuff is Lithium grease and the lubrication is provided by the long chaim molecules of the Lithium breaking down. So Moly grease does not "wear out" whereas Lithium grease tends to degrade with use and tends to dry out. So stick with the Moly grease and use it everywhere.

I agree with John on the moly for the suspension, but not for the U-joints. The moly will act like an abrasive on the small roller bearing in the u-joints. Because the Molybdenum is more of a round compound that rolls.
