What do you think?

I'd love to see the BMW V-12 in the back of the Superlite coupe, a la Jay Esterer's Ultima build.

Cheers, John

Chris,

Sorry ....I have no idea.
I am sure T buckets with no fenders manage to make it onto the streets in Ca.

We have been working on body package accessories though..
We have finalised fenders and a nose but it does not include a windscreen, only a wind deflector

is the superlight roadster street legal in CA? I would assume fenders and windshield are in order.
The SL Roadster spec sheet says fenders and nosecone "to be designed". I'm assuming they're included.

Windshield is a more esoteric requirement as the Spec FFR windshield and atom windshield somehow meet the requirement. Who knows.

That SL Roadster is SICK!

Fran, any chance you would sell seperate or consider posting details on your door hinges? I would be interested in seeing if they would work on the gtm. I know this might be your trade secret, but can't hurt to ask. I saw the superlite at Carlisle, and have to say it's eye candy.

The door hinges are no secret ...they are CNC aluminum parts.
They mount Group C style and have the imaginary pivot axis above the bodywork...so I doubt they would have anything in common with the GTM , that has a conventionally hung door.
