Converting to AOD from a 5 Speed

What does it take to convert my 5 speed tremec to an AOD trans? What do I need to buy and change out? Also will a stock 5.0 AOD trans handle the over 500 Lbs of torque my 408 stroker puts out? It is dynoed at 530 H.P. at the flywheel and 430 at the wheels. Thanks for any help.

It really is a bolt in. You would need a flex plate, trans, driveshaft, shifter and add the kick down cable. A stock AOD will not handle the power. You are looking at a $1500 performance rebuild and a 3200 rpm stall torque converter fo the AOD.
