Battery box/Touring Trunk ?

Question?
I'm planning to order the Touring trunk kit from Cobra Earl for my Mark III. I also want to order the Grandslam kit from FFMetal, which includes the battery box. I'm not sure if the two kits will work together? Will the battery box be in the way? I looked at the instructions for the battery box and it appears it mounts in the front of the truck. Anyone else use the two kits together?

I'm using the FFMetal battery box along with Earl's trunk kit. They don't interfere with each other at all. The battery box mounts in front of the horizontal 3/4 tube that spans the trunk, while Earl's kit mounts to the rear of the same tube.

Good idea to buy these. I made my own add-a-trunk and made my own battery box. They look fine but take forever to fabricate / test fit / fabricate/ retest / buy more aluminum / fabricate / retest / buy some screws / fabricate / retest - you get the picture.

Thanks for the info guys! I know it is hard to beat kits. Let someone else do all the work and pay them!
