Just curious if anyone is running the Holley Sniper efi? I have a 302 put together by Mike Forte with the Powerinjection 3 set up and the Edelbrock RPM intake. Have had numerous articles saying keep the dual plane intake and just as many opinions saying to run a single plane intake. Was hoping someone can say from experience what works.....Thanks

I have been running the sniper (with dual sync) on a dual plane rpm intake for a full season.

Works fine - the only change I needed to make was adding a 4 hole spacer under the sniper. It had belt like squeal from the intake. I researched it and found it was fairly common. The fix needs to be a 4 hole spacer (the open spacer did not change it for me). Other than that I have not had any issues.

I was hoping to see more replies... I was told that the benefits we get from the dual are replaced by the fact you are now controlled via computer and since the car is so light and revs so quick why not slap a single plane on and make even more POWER! That's the conclusion I came to and I'm sticking to it (cause it sounds good to me).. Mike

I have the Sniper on a dual plane manifold. I removed about an inch of the centre divider on the manifold and put a 1/2 inch open spacer between it and the Sniper. This was done on the recommendation of Holley to provide a more consistent manifold pressure reading. Works very well.
