I found my donor, a '92GT convertible. and I plan on driving it until I can save enough for the kit. The driver's seat in it now has a twisted back and I would like to replace it. The interior color is gray cloth, but I will probably use seat covers, so the condition and the color of the cloth is not of great
importance, but I need one that is structurely sound.
Thanks.

Be carefull, the floor pan under the drivers seat is a weak point and can cause the "twisting" that you discribe, check the rear mounting point under the carpet.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check it out, but I doubt that this is the issue. The base seems to be solid, but the hinge on the right side of the seat back doesn't lock. I really have not had the time to tear into it too far. Is this something that can be rebuilt, or should it be replaced?
Thanks as always.
