Yesterday, I had the pleasure to meet fellow South Floridian and FFR owner Raul Iglesias. I went to his house and he showed me his beatiful, dual roll barred, green with silver stripes Mark I. He has 275s all around and late model Mustang SVT 5 spoke wheels, beautiful combo.
Under the hood is a stock 302, with a twin turbo setup. His car is fabled down here. I got in to see how it felt sitting in a completed car, and insinuatingly told him I had never driven one. His gracious response was: "We can fix that right away".
WOW!!!!
That's all I can say.
When you step on this thing, it feels EXACTLY like when you're sitting on an airplane that's barreling down the runway and started to lift off, that force that pulls you back and up. And the whistling of those turbos as they spool up, incredible!!!
Thanks Raul for an unforgettable first driving experience. You have set me up for disappointment with my car, as it won't be making as much raw power as yours. But then again, maybe we can fix that too.
