Before you start to cut wires, you need a multimeter.
Find the wire in the Mustang ignition switch that has "Constant" +12 volts. This will be the battery wire(s).
Now turn the key to ACC and see which wires have +12 Volts.
These are your ACC wires.

Turn the key to Run and measure which wires have power. These are your "RUN" wires.

Last wire should be for the starter.
There are multiple wires for each circuit, so be sure to check them all.
