HELP! After several months and some severe sunshine, my wing windows (FFR) developed cracks in the plexiglass around the screw holes. Assuming I had applied a little to much pinch in their installation I replaced them with some brand new ones, only just snugging the screws to keep the window from shifting in the mount. After returning from the weekend, the car now having four days of garage time on the new windows, I have very severe cracking around one of the screws. I don't remember hearing of this as an issue but if I leave them any looser, they will rattle in the wind!

I had the same problem with Classic Roadsters kit. The wings cracked within a couple of days of mounting them, before the car was even on the road.

So I bought some new ones. I made some plastic washers to fit underneath the screw heads, and put them on both sides of the plexiglass. After 18 months and 5,000 miles, there was not a single crack.
