Picked up my donor last week, a 94 Cobra that has seen better days... it went UNDER a roadside cable barrier. It has a Tremec 3550 with a King Cobra clutch kit installed in it by the prevoius owner. Will I have to find a new bellhousing to use this setup in my donor? Or are all Tremec belhousings the same? I have a long way to go before I get to bolt it in, but trying to get a handle on what I have to buy besides my odd (94-95) year donor.

Thanks,
-Matt

FFR has a list of what you will need to change. Most of what you have will work if you DO NOT mix and match. For example you will need to keep the harness and computer and motor as a unit or you will run into problems. I think the pedal box is different as well as a few little other things. All in all not a big deal. Have them send you the list on Monday. The big difference is the rear is wider by 1.5 inches (3/4 in per side). Hope this helps. Cheers Richard.

The bellhousing on the 3550 is the one you need for your kit. If the car still had the original T-5 the input shaft would be longer as would the bellhousing. So you are ok. Tom
