Some older posts indicate yes, some say it's OK...what's your experience or understanding? I've just finished doing the aluminum in the wells and thought I'd better check with more knowlegable people than I before I ruin a beautiful paint job...

Sounds like paint is first, Herculiner last. As long as the paint is cured, not a problem. Talk to your paint jobber about curing times if you are doing the paint. Talk to your painter if you have somebody else that did the paint.

My opinion: I've done my own factory undercoat on my FFR body (SEM Product)and it wouldn't bleed thru even if I was doing my paint on the outside at the same time.

Disclaimer: I'm not responsible for anything. I was stocking the fridge when my girlfriend was doing the painting.
