I plan on putting ABS in my carb'ed, IRS, hydroboost-equipped MK3. I've done some searches, and I know that the earlier ABS pumps were stand-alone (no engine computer hookup) but had only 1 line for both rear wheels. I'd like to have separate lines for the rear wheels, but still have the stand-alone capability. My hydroboost unit comes from a 99 Cobra. Does anyone know what year(s) I should be looking for for an ABS unit? Any other "gotcha"s that I should beware of?

Thanks,

Rich

Well since no experts have steped in, here goes my thoughts.
Not sure, but I will be using 94 stand alone ABS.
The 1 line in the rear should not be a big deal.
You might want to ask one of the wire diet guys.
Chuck Field is the one who is dieting my harness and seting me up with the standalone ABS.
