Gonna hook up clutch, accelerator and spedo cables this weekend. First two are self-evident. Need advise on the third. I'm using the Breeze automotive longer spedo cable.

YOu should have a round hole in the top panel for the speedo cable.

Eddie, if you are using the Smith speedo with reverse reading then you will probably have to enter the firewall somewhere near the middle and approach the reversing mechanism from the side.This is how I did it and it worked great.

I am in same boat as Jim.. Top of foot box sit in the car right panel near where tranny box and foot box meet is a hole that I used.... If you look at the firewall from front of car it is top right of tranny tunnel

I drilled a hole directly where my speedo is at through the fire wall and then put a groumet on it, slid the cable in no problems no kinks either. Covered up the hole in the top of the footbox with the horseshoe shaped piece of aluminum.
