These cars are not too forgiving as the space between the fender and the frame & quad shock is fixed.

The rims used are the same as the Mustang.

On a Fox (87-93) the 17x9 wants a 5.95" (6") backspace. That is not offset. Here is a picture showing the difference:

On a SN95 rear end, the axles are 3/4" wider per side, so the offset wants to be 3/4" deeper...6 3/4"...Ford uses 6.42" as a stock backspace on a 17x9.

So the answer to your question is probably "No one using it successfully".
