Title covers most of it.

Thinking about a combo street and track car and if the TD can be equiped with a full windshield, I'm interested.

Big question is lightness. I'm thinking a BDR TD and a Ford Racing Alum 427W would be quite a combination, but I'm curious what the chassis weighs.

Thanks in advance!

I'm a big fan of the TDs :thumbup1:

Ping "Bailey", "Toro" or "thunderball".

Actually, you should talk to Bailey about more than the weight---he just might have something available that would interest you ;)

2380lbs full of fuel, no driver, with a Levy Windsor stroker and a really heavy T-56 tranny. An alum block motor, and a T-5 would be a snorting package.
I did develop a bolt on windshield using the factory windshield frame and glass, then alum brackets clamping on to the front portions of the cage. I'd be happy to pass on the info if you need.
Feel free to PM me with any questions.
Cheers,
Richard

I know this is an older post but if your still looking Reg has a new model RTX crossover car designed for track and road use.
On the other hand the #56 TD car may be for sale for the right price:)
