Got this idea from Gags. It's a modified Fernco with a U shape cut in the middle and secured underneath the cross member. The two lower radiator hoses get attached together in the middle of the Fernco.
that is a pretty fancy setup... I used a protective piece of plastic from the upper rediator hose and zip-tied it to the frame. Not elegant, but I am pretty sure it will work nicely.
Note: There is little or no weight on the zip tie.
Eric,
I'm not sure if this is the right term or not, but I used a large diameter (like 2 1/4" or 2 1/2") aluminum P-clamp, which has a rubber sleeve on it (similar to the little P-shaped clamps used for securing wire loom or fuel line to a frame, but bigger). I got it from Marshall's Hardware in San Diego for a couple of dollars.

I'm with Larry. I didn't know you were supposed to secure it so have done nothing. It just kinda dangles there. 5,000 miles and no problems so far. Maybe I'd better take a peek and see if I can't come up with something.
I used Barry N's idea also but lined the inside with rubber (had small pond liner material left over) and glued it to the inside and painted the bracket black to match the frame!
