1993 Mustang GT donor - the accelerator cable has another cable that is connected with it to the throttle body. This second cable runs into the driver's side fender and is connected to some round black plastic device 5-6 inches in diameter. The round device has wiring that goes through the firewall into a white box inside the driver's kick panel. Is this an automatic choke? If not, what is it, and do I need it on the FFR (stock 302 with EFI)? I can't find any refence in the instructions.

Pretty sure that's the cruise control.

Yup...Barry is right. It's cruise control. You don't need it.
