Put all the splash guards on after the body is mounted for good.

No aluminum really needs to be fitted before body work. You'll want to get your side pipe cut out fit, roll bars, windshield, and that's about it.

My front splash guards had a major affect on the side pipe openings. The splash guards push the lower edge of the fiberglass out about 1/2-3/4". I thought the side pipe opening needed enlarged until I fit the splash guards. During trial body fit I put the guards on with about 4 rivets that easily drilled out for removal.

The other area I would be concerned about is the trunk side panels. They hold up the rear of the body. If not in place I don’t think the body will settle down correctly around the door sill area.

Yes the rear bulkhead aluminum can be installed before the body is mounted without any problems.
