I'm thinking about building a 351w for my cobra and taking out the stock 5.0, But I want to stay with the efi. What intake are you guys using ? and is there any hood clearance problems ?
Thanks

Thanks guys for the help but I was thinking of the conventional type injection.

I did a 351W with standard EFI on FFR 1431 (Grape Ape) and used a Trick Flow intake, HP Motorsports 3/4" drop solid engine mounts, rotated the TB 90 degrees and it fit fine.

Larry, I agree either set up would be great and they look really cool.

Thanks Wayne, If you rotate the throttle body 90 degrees what does that do for the throttle cable attachment?

Trick Flow 351, the Probe Spyder, or a box intake are the only ones that will fit under the hood.

Changing from a 5.0L, you'll also need to upgrade your throttle body, MAF, fuel injectors, and fule pump. A custom chip or EEC reprogrammer is als0 a good idea to get it running right.

If I had it to do over again, I'd go with Quality Roadster's Mass-Flo EFI.
