If you are going webers, be sure to use a short duration cam and low pressure (no regulator) style fuel pump. Redline Webers recomend the Carter low pressure fuel pump.
A cam with long duration does not work well with Webers. Webers (48IDA) perform better with a high lift, short duration cam and higher (10.0+) compression. 48IDF's are better for engines with lower compression and mild cams.
