I really need some good photos for POM's.

  1. The photo MUST have a GREAT background.
  2. No people in the picture.
  3. FFR product.
  4. High resolution.
  5. Send only 1 picture. I delete all emails with more than 1.
  6. Email to ffcars "@" aol.com
Thanks!

Bill, I have some comments.

Why not some build shots?
I agree on the posed shots BUT I do like the shots of kids "building".
I also would like to see action shots. A FFR on track with a crowd in the background would be OK.

It may get more people to buy the calender and become a supporting member if they could vote on the 12 best photos.

i agree with TD lets have some action shots.
I dont even look at the POM anymore as they are all basically the same. Pretty car against some pretty background. seen one seen them all.

lets get some action shots
example:

Kaiser, Ria, Elam, Dobbins, & Eves driving the hell out of their spec racers at Road Atlanta. Swaping positions each lap.

If I remember the rules I read a looong time ago about this...

Didn't the car have to be finished? No gel coat shots?

Do you still have the picture of my coupe against the tech trailer at Mid Ohio?

Yes, we already have 1 two time winner.

Trivia question: Who is it?

Bill
James Creasy was POM for December 02, and February 05.
Never noticed that before.

I sent one a month or so ago. Should I send something different?
Sometimes it takes me up to 3 years to use a POM sent. You can always send another one if you have one.

The key to getting POM is simple:

A clear picture with a GREAT background is better than a GREAT car with a boring background.

We have choosen cars with lots of miles and stone chips because they had great backgrounds and were very focused.

Mines a POM every time I look out my kitchen window & see it parked on the back porch!.......Yes I park it on the back porch, cause my wife won't let me bring it inside.

I'm thinking Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument or Sylvan lake (think American Treasures movie) when I get my car done. -- Chuck
