I need a water proof cover for the Fling.
I don't have the time or money to get one custom made. Someone said a cover for a Miata would fit. Anyone know for sure.

I have the number2 also, I wonder if the Number 1 will work. THe number 2 is pretty loose.

I use the cover whenever im away from the garage over nite. It keeps the interior dry from dew. and it helps sort of hide the car from onlookers. I think most people just assume, its just another Corvette. :D :D :D

I had a nice tyvek cover from Discount Auto, sized for a Miata, that burned up in #1152. It was about $35, and was nice cause it squished down into a very small bag, so I always kept it in the trunk for emergencies and travel like Earl mentioned. It was a lot smaller than the cover I got from Walmart.

I dont think the walmart $20 ones are TRUELY WATERPROOF. THey shed water, but during a rain storm, I put a tarp under mine, and it had some water in it.

I think That If the smaller one would work, it would be more waterproof, if it were tighter, ie, no places for the water to pool.

THere are more expensive units that probably are more water proof. BUT, REMEMBER THIS, your trunk Is verrrrrrrrrry small. And even these cheap covers, even when folded well are VERRRRRRRRy LARGE.

I have a cover I threw over the Cobra while in McDonough. It kept off the bird sh!t, but the way it rained, it was the custom tonneau cover that kept the interior dry.

you need to be careful with any car cover because the wind may cause the cover to rub to ruin the paint surface, even all the through the paint. tight and really clean is best. a plastic tarp will screw up your paint in just a few minutes if its windy.
