I have just finished putting the engine together for my kit (which Stewart Trans will deliver next week). There are two holes under the driver's side of the GT -40 upper intake and one on the front of the EGR spacer and two holes in the back of the lower intake. What are these for? If not needed, can I merely plug them with pipe plugs? Sure looking forward to getting started on # 3877K. Thanks for all the help on this forum!!! Pax'

The two holes under the upper intake are used to feed the vac lines to operate all the vacuum controlled stuff, EGR solenoid, fuel regulator, EVAP canister, TAD/TAB solenoids, etc.

The hole in front of the EGR spacer can be plugged.

The two hole in the back of the lower intake are (ctr) for the PVC valve and the smaller driverside hole can be plugged.
