I just installed the upper ball joint on the upper A arm and to the IFS bracket and it is really stiff! It doesn't move around without effort like the lower ball joint does. I'm concerned this will affect the steering, etc. I called Joe at FFR this am and he said not to worry about it. The crown nut also didn't have any torque specs, just tighten it good and put in the cotter pin. Any thoughts?

Ball joints are always very stiff when new. I tightened the crown nut to 85 ftlbs and put the pin in.
