I am looking for something to do today..

Should I wait to install the under door aluminum
until after the body is painted, or can I
install this now??? My body is installed
and everything is fitted except the top..

After the top, it is off to the painter..

Wait and do it last. You might need to access the mount holes from the inside.

You can fit it up now but you will have a hard time getting the body off for final paint if you decide to leave it on. I would fit it up with bulb seal and get it in place drill it and hold it with clekos and then take it off when you are ready to remove the body.

Like Todd said, fit it up now with cleco's to minimize the potential of scrapping your paint later. My $.02, I would suggest building up the car up 100%, every nut and and bolt, take it apart and then paint. Leaves no guess work for later and no Aw-Sh$ts!

What Bob said. Did you drill the holes and mount the gas cap? How about roll bar grommets? How about the holes in the nose for radiator aluminum? Mirror holes?

I didn't drill any of these holes in the body before paint. Now I'm having to do it after and I'm terrified of each hole in case I scratch the paint. I really wish I would have drilled all the little holes before paint.
