Ok so I find a bunch of turbo's on a Goverment auction web site. They are the Flex fluel 21/2 ton trucks. Would these turbo's be to big for a 302? The openning bid is $50 plus 10% sounds like a good price to me and they are close to me so I could pick them up. What do you guys think? I have thought about picking some up for resale as well.

They would most likely be way to big for a small engine like a 302. A model number would help ID them.

Looks like it is about the size of the turbo on my powerstroke, maybe bigger.

Back in the day (I refuse to say how far back) 2 1/2 Ton trucks used a 6-71 engine (426 c.i.) IMHO it would be too big. A turbo of the proper size would be much more fun and responsive.

That is what I was thinking just thuoght I would ask I was thinking of stopping by and looking around on Monday to see if they have any smaller one's. Like the ones on my 6.5t those should be useable.
