I want to use the TKO. Will the FMS King Cobra clutch fit? I also have the FMS Aluminum Bellhousing. 351W carbed 408/495. I can return the clutch and bellhousing to Summit if I have to. I was originally going to use a 392/430 w/ the regular 3550. Comments? Suggestions?

Thanks, John

John, ask Mike Forte (see vendors above). He knows what works with what, and sells the Tremec box, machined to fit the FFR

A 3550 has a 10 tooth input shaft and will accept a standard Ford clutch disc.A TKO uses a 26 tooth input shaft therefore the standard Ford Clutches including the King Cobra will not work.

Hi John,
I have the TKO 26 spline disc and the Cobra clutch kit in stock along with everything else that could be needed to assemble a 5 speed FFR. Call me Monday.

John - you will also have to change the yoke as the splines on that are different too. Forte can take care of that as well. Don't forget to ask him for his 26 tooth ("Forte Special") clutch alignment tool.
