Opps. While body was on body buck getting sanded, I was moving just the frame with aluminum panels to my home 14 miles away and ASSUMED that all the panels were screwed in with #6 self tap self drill screws. Nope. While going close to 60 mph with the frame in the back of an F-150, one trunk panel flew off. The one that is not screwed in is screwed in another way. Please learn from my IDIOCY. I will not assume again...I will not assume again....I will not......

Sorry to hear the bad news. I can only imagine the look on your face when you saw the frame sheding the aluminum panels onto the road

Thanks guys. At least now I know that I will have to carpet the trunk instead of polished. One less thing to worry about...

Look at it this way Mike, a new chance to learn to reshape aluminum.

I bought a CJ5 project and had it towed home only to find out the next day that the all the bolts that hold the body to the frame were in the bottom of the parts box.

Nothing happened but ohhh the possibilities....
