We had a great weekend two weeks ago. The Cobra Owners Club of Switzerland made a trip to Elsass/France including a visit to the famous Schlumpf museum. The tour led us through very pitcuresque seceneries and little towns. Of course the driving was very fun too! About 350 miles going up and down narrow and twisty mountain roads. Enjoy the pics ...

WOW. I didn't realize that there were so many Cobra's in Europe. I always thought you were all by yourself out there. Glad to see you're not.

I can't believe the pictures of the town... there are NO cars driving around and only a few parked here and there. I guess I thought that all European towns were crowded with cars like our neighborhoods are here.

Maybe I should travel to Europe and get a better insight???

Wow...you guys are lucky.

Its always been an ambition of mine to see the schlumpf collection.

My first kit build was with my father. We built a teal type35 Marina Based Bugatti replica with the engine in the right place.

My late father and I became Bugatti enthusiasts but never got to museum

For those that don't know the story of the Schlumpf brothers.

The schlumpf brothers became obsessed with the bugatti cars and spent their fortune gathering every bugatti they could get their hands on. The collection is now priceless. In the end they overdid it and bankrupted themselves. Totally understandable, I have done the same thing with FFR stuff!!!

Did you see a Royale there?
(I got to see a ground up built 100% authentic car at a museum in the UK)
