My brother has it now but since he is going into the service he is most likely going to get rid of it. I believe it is a 94-95 range. Has the 4.6 in it though but it has a 146k miles on the clock.

He wants 3 for and checking with ebay prices it looks like it a decent deal. The airbag front suspension worries me but I saw on this site http://www.strutmasters.com/lincoln/mark-8.htm that it may be a easy replacement.

Anything else to watch out for?

Aj,

94 - 95 is a decent car. The only problem I am aware of from that year is torque converter shudder. Most of the time it can be cured by changing the fluid and switching from Mercon 3 to Mercon 5 and adding a trans cooler. If it needs replacing the part is only $200. Common to all lincolns like you mention are airbag issues and also the blend door actuator on the climate control. From what I have read people have replaced the airbag suspension with Tbird components since the platforms are nearly identical from 94-97. If it has torque converter shudder it will feel like you are driving over a rumble strip as it locks the converter after shifting to 3rd usually around 45 MPH. That is all I know but there is a MarkVIII specific forum here
http://forums.modulardepot.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=38
and there is also a lot of Mark info over at www.tccoa.com
