Last night while assembling the rear lower arms I ran into a problem with the threads for the rod ends. I was able to thread all but one in by finger. Got the rod end in about 1/2 by hand then it stop cold. So I put a wrench on it ....not trying to force it ( I PROMISE ) and got less than a quarter turn out of it. At that point I tried to back it out and it wouldn't budge. I literally had to stand on it while a friend had to use a cheater bar and all his strength to back it out. Something had to be wrong with the threaded insert because the first 1/2 of threads are fine and then it looks like the bolt to a crap right there. It wasted the first two or three threads on the rod end. You can't tell by the picture but it looks like the threaded insert in the arm was deformed at 1/2 inch in...ie it doesn't look straight enough to even attempt to tap it. Guess it's going back...more delays

Run a tap down it. I had a set from FFR and we had to do the same thing. They (FFR) are supposed to run a tap down them before they ship. Most get done once in a while they miss one. Match the tap and go for it. Hope this helps. Cheers Richard.
