Other than the 67-69 Camaro style spoiler on the decklid, I really like the car!

If they really wanted to make this car "Extra Special", they would have come up with rear quarter caps and a fiberglass decklid that had a nice duck-tail spoiler built in.

I'll still give it two thumbs-up though...

For my money, I think I'd rather have that than the Saleen s281(standard), as long as it's not just a body kit. It may end up being worth even more after the old guy buys the proverbial chicken farm.

Guess I will have to get one in white to match my other GT500. I like the looks of the new Mustang, and the wheels look like they would work on the roadster. Now to find a set of take-offs at a tire store for cheap...

$40K will be a bargain for this car.
I'm glad they didn't screw it up with a bunch of fake side scoops and louvers. After living with the wheel hopping garbage IRS in my 03 Cobra, I'm glad they went with the solid axle too.

They where linked in a post over at The Mustang Source .

I've been following the 05 Mustang over there for a long time. there are a few guys there with inside sources that have been real accurate. I glad my FFR build is finally coming to an end because I want this Mustang.

5.4L (330cu.in.) Whipple supercharger, "over"450hp and 450 lb. ft. (according to Ford press site)
I guess they haven't finalized the tuning yet so no official HP number yet. Cast iron block with 4-valve heads and a T56 6 speed. I'm curious to see how much it weighs. My 03 Cobra conv. was a tank but it was still scary fast.

$40K? And it says "Shelby"???

....oh, you meant the down payment.

I'm guessing more like $50-$60K. Then add another $10-$15K for the additional dealer markup.

Now why did you have to ruin it for me? ;) It kinda looks like a '70 Challenger T/A spoiler to me.

I think a pedestal style spoiler would be nice.

Whoa Nelly, that is a BAD RIDE!!! If that car is 40k, that will be a DEAL, what are you guys talking about. With that kind of Power, and 40k seems like a bargin to me. I doubt it'll be only 40 though. We'll have to see.

If the average guy can get his hands on one for less than $50K, I'll really be surprised.
