Al,

I think it's a FFR MkII chassis with a 289 FIA body from "Grumpy" (screen name here on forum) out of Texas. Apparently he makes replacement 289 and 427 bodies that fit the FFR. The chassis looks to be at least modified to have the forward braced roll bar.

I've posted before and tried to inquire as to what parts Grumpy makes but can never seem to get any information.

Interesting sidepipe setup.

Shoot Grumpy a PM here. He was very helpful to me when I was in the planning stages. Of course, I'm a fellow Texan. :D

Al - That's John Bryant's FFR/FIA marriage. He's done a lot of work on that thing. He took Best Interior at the Open House. Those are real Webers sitting on a '65 289. JohnnyB26 is his forum name.

Al, this is the only FFR 289 FIA to be made, it's a Contempory body with a highly modified MK II chassis period correct 289 with toploader 4 spd. & of course webers thanks for the interest!
