Tech Insp. For 1/4 mile drags questions?

What did you guys need on the car to pass through tech inspection at tracks around or somewhere near PA. I'm told that I need the following- Fire suit, helmet (snell 90 or newer), arm straps, a full roll cage, to run 13.99 or faster. But If I had a convertible top for it, all I would need is the helmet. I expect to run somewhere in the 13's so this is where I stand to run it at Maple Grove Raceway. I was just wondering what others have gotten away with to run it in the 1/4 mile in a state close to PA.
