I am 6'5" and every inch of legroom is important.

I have finally reached a really good solution for the clutch. The brake is a Jeep M/C with the donor pushrod and 2 spacers. My previous setup had the clutch pedal sitting about 3 inches in front of the brake. I would hit my knee on the dash (temp) and or catch my heel of the drop floor lip.

I put in a pedal adjuster (Wade Chamberlain's solution). I got a little bit more room but at about 2" I started pulling the clutch cable, and that is with the firewall adjuster all the way in.

Now - the solution - Whitby's quadrant with 2 steps. Using the shorter of the two steps let you adjust the pedal all the way back to the brake pedal and there was still a little slack to be taken up by the adjuster.

So all together it is:
Wade's adjuster idea.
Whitby's firewall adjuster with lock nut.
Whitby's 2 step aluminum billet quadrant.

I tried to take some pictures but you really can't anything besides that the pedals are almost next to each other. I may actually try the third brake spacer and move it back just a little more.

My legs are a little bit happier. :D

I did a simplified version - with a clip on nut and a bolt going up to act as the stop.

Wade's variation -
