I'm having a real problem getting help on a problem with my tach.

I am using a Crane DMSI and the original 1988 Mustang tach. I've tried the #11 feed of the guage pod and the green "tach" wire off the Crane DMSI box but the tach doesn't move. Does anyone have a suggestion?

GWARD,
I was having trouble getting mine to work also so I simply did away with the pod and wired all of my gauges direct. The Torres brothers have an excellent diagram on the guage pod and the have everything layed out and easy to follow. I have the stock ignition but i am sure if you try to wire your tach direct and make sure you have a good ground it will work out for you. If you have too ground the tach directly to the frame and eliminate at least that problem. Sorry I dont have the Torres bros. web page but I think its listed here somewhere.
