Has anyone used this new s/c for carb'd 289/302's from paxton yet?

superchargersonline.com has the polished kit for $2816.00 with an option for driver or passenger side mounting.

They make 7.5 psi at 5500 rpm on stock 289.

What exactly does this mean?...
"**NOTE: This kit will fit any pre-1978 Ford Small Block 302cid engine."

Looks cool, I wonder how much additional hp???

before you become a member in our "super potato" group, you might want to talk to Mr. Potatohead, (our leader) before you choose to do a blow through design! My set up:

is much easier on the carb especially....and does not presurise the carb as well.

The merger of Paxton and Vortech seems to already have a trickle down effect. That carb cover looks exactly like the lid on the Mondo Igloo Intercooler cover... Interesting.

...thanks Eric, I am just inquiring on anyones experience with this unit. I have no plans to go with a s/c at this time.
