One of the coolest projects that we’ve done in a long time is to build a Mk4 Roadster for the President of Summit Racing. When we made this deal, we were pleased to find out that Summit wanted to post the build log online. Below are are the series of articles online.

The car debuted at the 2012 SEMA Show and got rave reviews. The car is soon to be tested by some major magazines and will be going on the Summit Racing show and event trailer for the 2013-2014 show season.

Dave,

Please tell me the red paint color name and supplier. I saw the silver is a Summit item but the red eludes me. SKJ has not gotten back to me on the red. Help!!

Jim
Good luck with the red, I love red!

Keep in mind, red is one of those colors that you really need to see in person. It seems every computer video card and monitor renders or displays the color differently. Just something to keep in mind so that you don't end up with a shade of red that you hate.

Joe,

You're absolutely right. I thought the Summit build paint was really classy, yet the red gave it a bit of bite and character. Not slamming other schemes... most anything looks good on a Cobra! Hope I can get the red name:very high up my list of options.

Pretty sure both colors are from Summits new line of paints.
