My 5.0 is fuel injected and it lunges from idle to first pressure on the pedal. I ran a new cable around the front of the car, so Iknow its not the cable. Could I be having a problem over comming the first in rush of air into the throttle body? Does it need more counter spring pressure or is it the foot pedal. Anybody having similar problems. Thanks Bill

The stock set up is supposedly very touchy because of the way FFR has you modify the pedal, it esseantially double the throttle pull ratio.

From the get go I modified the pedal pivot point to bring it back to a 2:1 ratio. Its not too hard to do with a small welder. However if funds are more plentiflul than time Russ Thompson sells a slick billet pedal with the ratio all fixed up to get better modulation.
